How Prediction Scoring Works on WorldCup MediaOS
Submit your score predictions, earn points, and climb the global leaderboard. Here's exactly how the prediction system works.
One of the best ways to engage with World Cup 2026 on this platform is through our prediction game. It's simple, competitive, and completely free.
How to Submit a Prediction
Head to any scheduled match page and click "Predict the Score". You'll see the two teams with flag images and a score input for each side. Enter your predicted scoreline and hit Submit. You can update your prediction any time before the match kicks off.
The Points System
- 3 points β Exact score (you predicted 2β1, final score is 2β1)
- 1 point β Correct outcome (right winner or correctly predicted a draw, but wrong score)
- 0 points β Wrong outcome
The Leaderboard
Points are totalled across all matches and displayed on the global leaderboard. Rankings update automatically after each match is scored. Your current rank is highlighted whenever you view the leaderboard.
Tips for More Points
Group stage matches tend to produce more goals than knockout rounds. Study the team form, head-to-head records, and venue conditions. Predictions from our expert analysis articles can help β and they're free to read.
